Jose Jacob has been a professional realtor for over 26 years. He is equally adept in all areas of residential real estate, for both buyers and sellers, as he is with real estate investors and bulk property purchasing. His knowledge of the area and real estate procedures is encyclopedic. There is little about the Queens, Nassau and West Suffolk Counties he doesn't know.
Jose is a strong believer in service and professionalism. And although your sale or purchase of a home is one of many real estate transactions Jose assists with every year, he never forgets that it may be much more than just a transaction to you.
In a perfect world, Jose would concentrate solely on helping buyers and sellers fulfill the American Dream of home ownership. This is something he has done hundreds of times for singles, couples and families during his long real estate career. But even when the world turns out to be not so perfect for his clients, Jose has been there. He is qualified and supportive when it comes to helping clients facing financial difficulty navigate through short sales, threat of foreclosure and the proper procedures to follow to remain in their homes.
His professional and community memberships include the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce and the Property Professionals of New York.

Rashida R. Smith,Real Estate Broker
My name is Rashida R. Smith. I am a native New Yorker as well as the daughter of two immigrants from the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. My interest in immigration law stems from my own personal experiences. Although my mother entered the U.S. legally, she overstayed her visa and remained in the U.S. unlawfully. She married my father and later obtained her green card. Growing up, I often witnessed the many sacrifices that my parents made, to ensure that I had a successful future. Their efforts were not in vain. I grew up to receive my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Accounting at Brooklyn College. I went on to obtain my J.D. from Western Michigan University where I gained experience doing immigration law and estate planning for the less fortunate. After becoming licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey, I worked at a General Practice firm where I refined my skills in immigration and family law.
Immigration Law is a field where one’s choice in his/her attorney, can literally be the difference between life and death. Choose an attorney who truly cares about your needs and our community. As someone who had to work my way up, I understand the importance of being flexible with my clients. I offer payment plans and work hard to accommodate my clients’ schedules. I have also been fortunate enough to practice various areas of law including Employment Law, Contract Law, Landlord-tenant and family law. I’ve worked as Counsel to the Comptroller in Nassau County and I’ve worked on cases such as the BP Oil Spill and the Bernard Madoff bankruptcy case. I’ve also worked in smaller firms where I helped individuals with their Employment Law disputes as well as Immigration needs. This diverse background affords me the ability to better help my clients.
As an attorney my goal is to provide the highest quality of legal services to my clients. My firm offers flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments and payment plans in most instances. I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve their legal goals. I always make sure that my clients fully understand how the current laws apply to their specific case and are aware of their options. For example, did you know that victims of domestic violence may be eligible to obtain their permanent residence in the U.S.?
My priority is to ensure that my clients have accurate information about their case, know what to expect while they pursue their case, and are aware of how I can help with the entire legal process. I cannot guarantee the outcome of any case; however, I can guarantee that I will give my ALL in every case. Some people enter the legal profession for the wrong reasons. However, I am passionate about what I do. I understand that the legal process can be a grueling and emotionally draining one, especially when families are being affected. As a result, I will do everything in my power to make sure that each client receives the personal attention and quality services he/she deserves.
